LAKE CHARLES - The McNeese Cowboys, with the help from members of the United States Armed Forces, unveiled their 2015 Military Appreciation Day camouflage football jerseys on Thursday evening in grand style - a U.S. Marines Humvee.
Seniors
Gabe Hamner,
Wallace Scott and
Brent Spikes rode the Humvee into Cowboy Stadium to the 50-yard line and climbed out to showcase the new camo jerseys - white base with camouflage shoulders and numbers.
Axiall Company sponsored the jerseys that will be worn only at the Sept. 12 home opener against Southland Conference foe Incarnate Word.
Last season, McNeese wore blue camo jerseys in the home opener against Prairie View.
