2013 All-Louisiana First Team
2013:Â played in all 13 games and made 12 starts... ended the year with 44 tackles, five sacks and seven tackles for a loss... tied for team lead in sacks... had an interception, the first in his career, with a 65 yard return at Stephen F. Austin that was about five yards shy of a touchdown... named CFPA Defensive Lineman of the Week for Sept. 14 game against West Alabama when he recorded six tackles and made a career-high three sacks... season-high nine tackles against Southeastern Louisiana.
2012:Â team leader with 12 tackles for a loss to go along with four sacks... ranked sixth on the team with 50 total tackles... played and started in all 11 games... recorded a career-best 10 tackles along with a sack and two tackles for a loss against Northwestern State on Sept. 29... had seven tackles each in the final two games of the season - at UTSA and vs. Lamar... recorded 18 quarterback hurries and broke up four passes... forced two fumbles... had sacks against McMurry, at Weber State, vs. Northwestern State and Lamar.
2011:Â played in 10 games as a redshirt freshman and recorded 17 tackles to go along with two tackles for a loss and a sack... his sack came against Nicholls when he was credited with a safety... had a career-high five tackles against Stephen F. Austin.
High School: was a three year starter and winner of coaches defensive captain award...as a senior he was credited with 97 tackles, 11 TFL, nine sacks, four forced fumbles and five recovered fumbles...had 163 career tackles and 15 sacks...three year honor roll student.
